This site is a lot of things, a journal, a "blog", a collection of photos and thoughts of my travels, musings on history, philosophy, Christianity, and science, and also some technical information on Macs and PCs. Hope you find it useful and interesting! This site uses Quicktime "progressive" streaming (I'll be supporting ReadMedia and Windows Media in the near future.) Except for Quicktime technology from Apple Computer Corp., this site uses Open Source software, indicated below. Specifically, the computer hosting this site runs Red Hat Linux, Version 9.0, uses Apache as the web server, uses PHP to serve dynamic content, and stores data using a MySQL database server, all freely available, secure, very customizable, and of the highest quality. (Can you tell, I'm a little biased..). Well enough of that...

A full day. Cold still lingering a bit. Installed a fresh instance of
InstallShield Express (Demo) - used it on a copy of Windows 2000 installed
on Virtual PC to set up another staff screen exe - went through the whole process,
now appears to be working well.
Phone call from Phil, he got back a few days ago (on the 11th). Joe is
in Seattle for the next few weeks (total of 3 weeks). Let's see - what else -
Kiyomi and I are going to an "opera" at her school - City College of San Francisco - main campus. Also set up another host (stantonweb2.com) as a
back-up to store my files and other critical information. Process got finalized
today - and I can start transferring stuff. This will be somewhat of a relief.
Now, I find one more - so I can have 2 backup sites in different parts of the country.
That's about it for now.
