This site is a lot of things, a journal, a "blog", a collection of photos and thoughts of my travels, musings on history, philosophy, Christianity, and science, and also some technical information on Macs and PCs. Hope you find it useful and interesting! This site uses Quicktime "progressive" streaming (I'll be supporting ReadMedia and Windows Media in the near future.) Except for Quicktime technology from Apple Computer Corp., this site uses Open Source software, indicated below. Specifically, the computer hosting this site runs Red Hat Linux, Version 9.0, uses Apache as the web server, uses PHP to serve dynamic content, and stores data using a MySQL database server, all freely available, secure, very customizable, and of the highest quality. (Can you tell, I'm a little biased..). Well enough of that...

This morning, felt a little tired, so I caught the bus to work - getting in about 9:35.
More work today on the offline database. Making some good progress. Should be finished in another day or two, then I will test.
Kiyomi made a sandwich for me, but I had forgotten to tell her about the lunchean.
Had a going away lunchean at the "Crepe House" for Nate, fellow who was working on the jews4jesus.org web site for the last year.
He's going to work for McAffee as a "Internet Architect". Position sounded very interesting.
Both he and I ordered the crepe called "Hawaiian" - containing cheese, onions, brown sugar, soy sauce and some other ingredients. It was very delicious. Might go there again with Kiyomi at some point.
This afternoon, started to develop a runny nose. Ironic because I took Susan Leong's place this sat. because she had developed a bad cold last week.
Got back around 6:00 PM. Also caught the bus home.
Hopped in the shower hoping I'd feel better.
Kiyomi made pasta for dinner, and she also got some of that walnut sourdough
bread we liked. I got some for the first time last week.
But after dinner, rested for an hour, just getting up again now. I do feel better.
Red Hat 9.0 server (the one hosting this site) had a lot of disk activity, and
I reset the web server that seemed to stop the activity. I think Joe might
have been testing panlingua or something.
